“The most beautiful and profound emotion we can experience is the sensation of the mystical. It is the sower of all true art and science. Those to whom this emotion is a stranger … is as good as dead. To know that what is impenetrable to us really exists, manifesting itself as the highest wisdom and the most radiant beauty, which our dull faculties can comprehend only in their most primitive forms—this knowledge, this feeling, is at the center of true religiousness.
Mysticism is the experience of mystical union or direct communion with ultimate spiritual truth – attainable only through subjective experience (such as intuition or insight). The secret wisdom and enigmatic experiences revealed by studying and probing the Daoist Arts – Martial Arts, Healing Arts and Spiritual Arts – are deeply profound. The learnings are taught through subtlety and are often beyond words. They may only be grasped by direct experience.
The mystical is often thought of as “secret”. What good is a secret? Previously unknown Dinosaurs bones and shells when discovered reveal secrets of evolution. The mystical is spiritual when it becomes your own blossoming and recognition of your own truth.
This Gathering will focus on Knowing the Unknown. There are many secrets that enrich us when known or revealed at the Physical, Spiritual, Mental and Emotional levels. Experiencing the unknown is a path to “knowing” . The moment when the previously unknown is revealed is the realization of mysticism. This revelation generates a different path and a new way of thinking and experiencing of being. Come learn with us how to unlock the mysticism of the Dao!!!
